What is Ramped Quota Capacity?
Ramped quota capacity estimates how much bookings your fully ramped account executives can produce in a period. Multiply ramped AE count by average quota per rep and an attainment assumption to get a planning number you can compare directly to the bookings plan.

Worked example
Using the default example inputs (Ramped AEs: 8; Average quota per AE: $800,000; Attainment assumption: 75%), Ramped Quota Capacity equals $4,800,000 (Ramped quota capacity). Compare ramped quota capacity to your bookings plan. If capacity trails the plan, attainment must beat assumption, unramped reps must contribute, or you need more ramped headcount.

Capacity should be sized before you set the plan, not after. If ramped capacity trails the plan, document which unramped reps, new hires, or pipeline bets must close the gap. Revisit attainment assumptions when win rate or cycle time shifts.
