Ramped quota coverage divides ramped quota capacity by the period bookings plan. The ratio shows whether fully ramped reps alone can support the plan at your attainment assumption — or whether the plan depends on unramped reps, new hires, or above-plan performance.

Worked example
Using the default example inputs (Ramped quota capacity: $4,800,000; Bookings plan: $6,000,000), Ramped Quota Coverage equals 0.8:1 (Ramped quota coverage). Coverage below 1.0x means the bookings plan depends on unramped reps, new hires not yet at quota, or attainment above your assumption.
What good looks like
Coverage below 1.0x is a planning signal, not a failure: it forces explicit assumptions about ramping hires and stretch attainment. Above 1.0x still requires pipeline quality and execution — capacity is necessary, not sufficient.
